These chemicals are often toxic and used in many commercial and industrial applications. Siloxination agents are made with silicon and often have a Si-O-Si bond link.
Siloxination agents are often toxic and can be harmful to animal and humans when used frequently. They also have short shelf lives where they need to be used in a timely fashion after production. When they are applied to a surface, they create a base layer that will need to dry after in order to be bonded to. This siloxination layer is not part of the base material but rather an additional layer that can be subsequently bonded to after application.
